    Taurus 800 series

Anyone seen the new Taurus 800 series pistols?  There's an ad in this month's Rifleman's magazine from NRA.  They are on the polymer 24/7 frame but with traditional DA/SA with exposed hammer.  Looks great to me.  May have to go on my list for possible full size 9mm.

They are nice looking handguns.I was reading how the 809 will be in 9mm with a 17 +1 mag capacity, but the 800 series will be offered in 40S&W as well as 45 ACP.Site does not list mag capacity for other calibers. They state the gun too be single action, but have a double strike capability,so if the round does not fire the first time, the gun reverts back to a double action, providing a second primer strike.Price is said to run in the mid $600 range depending on options.
