cheap place for army surplus/survival gear

I was looking around on the web and I can't find anything off hand that's better than Cheaper Than Dirt and Cabela's. I've had good luck with them but I started getting curious where you guys do you supply shopping. I found tons of army surplus stores out their but either it was a majority of crap or way over priced. where is the best place to go or is it just a pick and choose from each. Where is the best place to find a good price on quality goods of this sort, I'm starting to think I'm too poor to survive any thing big.

Also I'm starting to wonder, Is this a general survival post or just techniques and guides as it says. I don't want to be posting in the wrong spot or anything. Mike T ? should we keep the general survival info grabing in the general section?

I tend to do business where I get the best prices.  There are deals to be had at these two places.  I've made several purchases from majors and a few from SG.

+1  you would be surprised what people practically give away at yard sales.  (I got my coleman single burner stove for a buck... normally its around 40).

That being said, what sort of stuff are you looking for?  (just curious).

When I tend to think of my survial equipment, camping gear isn't really on the list.  I think of my Food supplies, generator, guns to keep the Zombies at bay.  (I guess I do count my various stoves for cooking...  that's camping gear I guess.)
