Question for the Ladies of BT!!

What holster do you use for your BT380's?  My girlfriend took her CC class and now trying to find a holster for her before her permit comes in. She is not petit but not fat I call it "Big Boneded" (she would have my scalp if she knew I told ya'll that) before spending $100+ on something I thought I would ask first.

    THANKS

Re: Question for the Ladies of BT!!

That's one of the reasons I started making my own holsters.  I need to find a configuration that will work for my gf and we can't afford to keep buying different holsters.  If I make a style that she really likes I'll probably drop the money on a professionally made on in a similar style.

That being said I know Tucker Gunleather will take your holster back if you don't like it but I don't think they have specific woman's models.  FIST Holsters will alter their holsters to accomodate the female form.

While were waiting for the girls. I will say this. Holsters are a hard to fit  on a woman. She may need to rethink her style of dress.  I belive a pistol should always be on the body Not in a purse. Of course UBG would make her a nice holster . But she will end up with more than one  No matter what brand .

Re: Question for the Ladies of BT!!

Hi KY, and kudos to your GF for getting her CCW permit....Most of the time, I carry my pistol in a shoulder holster....Mine is made by Ross leather and it is for horizontal carry...I find this method to be the most accomodating with my different types of attire.......If I am riding my motorcycle, I have a fanny pack with a built in holster that I use.....FWIW, I NEVER carry off body.....I hope this helps....

Here is a link to The Cornered Cat....there is a lot of useful information for women, written by a woman...there is a section that explains the different types of holsters and how they apply to women...Good luck to your gf......

Re: Question for the Ladies of BT!!

Looked at Fist Holsters last night and they looked pretty nice, he designs them to match the contour of the females hips and has several in his line of ladies holsters, also looked at C. Rusty Sherrick www.c-rusty.com  line of female holsters and they are also nice, just hate to spend $100+ till I know someone that owns one. My GF is redneck as me she WILL NOT be in anything besides jeans and boots, BUT,,,, she loves her Coach purses and in no way would she put an oily gun in one of them so it has too be OWB.
