Got my Bersa .380cc a coupla weeks ago. Choosing a holster proved more difficult. My criteria were rather straightforward:
- I wanted to be sure the holster was designed to specifically fit the "concealed carry" version of the weapon, not just the standard Thunder .380
- I wanted a leather holster
- I wanted to be able to carry IWB
- Had to be able to tuck in my shirt
- Couldn't spend a fortune
- Wanted relatively quick TAR
I read a lot of posts on this forum, picked up some outstanding information. I also researched on the web and went to a few gun shops. Since plenty of us seem to struggle with our initial holster purchase, I thought I would add my 2 cents and hope it helps someone else.
I went with the "Split Decision" from High Noon Holsters. Placed my order via their website (www.highnoonholsters.com) on Sunday, July 6. Received it today--Wednesday, July 9. That's pretty quick TAR.
Paid $42.95 which includes shipping, no tax. More than I had hoped to spend, but not outrageous.
The holster is black (as is my weapon) and quite small. Looks like it's going to be what I hoped for. My Bersa is "resting" in the holster right now to help loosen up the leather a bit, and I plan to wear it as much as possible over the next few days and see how well it suits my needs.
If anyone is interested in hearing more once I have a chance to try it out, just let me know, I'll be glad to share my experience with this holster.
