Tuckable, IWB holster for Thunder .380cc

Got my Bersa .380cc a coupla weeks ago. Choosing a holster proved more difficult. My criteria were rather straightforward:
    • I wanted to be sure the holster was designed to specifically fit the "concealed carry" version of the weapon, not just the standard Thunder .380
    • I wanted a leather holster
    • I wanted to be able to carry IWB
    • Had to be able to tuck in my shirt
    • Couldn't spend a fortune
    • Wanted relatively quick TAR
I read a lot of posts on this forum, picked up some outstanding information. I also researched on the web and went to a few gun shops. Since plenty of us seem to struggle with our initial  holster purchase, I thought I would add my 2 cents and hope it helps someone else.

I went with the "Split Decision" from High Noon Holsters. Placed my order via their website (www.highnoonholsters.com) on Sunday, July 6. Received it today--Wednesday, July 9. That's pretty quick TAR.

Paid $42.95 which includes shipping, no tax. More than I had hoped to spend, but not outrageous.

The holster is black (as is my weapon) and quite small. Looks like it's going to be what I hoped for. My Bersa is "resting" in the holster right now to help loosen up the leather a bit, and I plan to wear it as much as possible over the next few days and see how well it suits my needs.

If anyone is interested in hearing more once I have a chance to try it out, just let me know, I'll be glad to share my experience with this holster.

I took the screw out that is used to tighten the holster together. Then took out the rubber grommet that is in between. Then I put the screw back in as tight as it would go no rubber piece. Then I wrapped gun in waxed paper and put gun in there for a day. I mean all the way in so the trigger guard can not go any further in. After a day I left the gun in the waxed paper holstered then removed several times, maybe a few hundred replacing waxed paper as needed. Put the gun back in the holster in the waxed paper and let it sit a few more days. Now it fits great and is smaller then most holsters out there. I also use this holster while riding my motorcycle and have not ever worried about losing the gun.

How does the standard Thunder 380 fit in it?

If politicians are allowed to spew nonsense and people act as if they've spoken intelligently, why can't I?

It fits the same as the 380cc the guns are almost identical.

From what I can see it looks like the leather holsters come up past the hammer, while the non-leather holstes do not.

If a t-shirt isn't worn under the outer shirt, is dirt, perspiration, etc a concern on the non-leather holster?   It seems there would be skin contact (or more skin contact) with the non leather holsters, than with the leather ones

Not exactly sure how you define "fortune" but I bought a Crossbreed Supertuck for my .380CC from Crossbreedholsters.com and couldn't be happier. Regularly forget it's even there. I wear it to work every day and no one knows but my family. Great product.
