Went to the local gun show today and picked up a P32 hard chrome for $279. I have been lusting after the LCP like so many others, but it seems that more and more owners are having issues with them and they are just unavailable around here anyway, so I decided to go with the "original" and bought the KelTec. I'm not sure if the HC version is inherently better finished than the other versions, but I was really impressed with the fit and finish of the little gun. It was the only hard chrome P32 in the building and I didn't think about it for too long before making up my mind. As far as I'm concerned I have my pocket pistol and won't be looking for the Ruger until the frenzy dies down and the bugs are worked out.

i think the hc is the most durible finish kt makes. that's why i got mine.

think about it this way too, in both the p32 and p3 the hc is by far the hardest finish to find.  if you ever decide to sell it, you'll have alot less trouble getting your money out of a hc finished one.
