Hey guys, help me out here.  I am looking at my mini9 and there are two slits on the frame, right under the front of the slide (the dangerous end).  Is this some sort of rail that a laser/light can be mounted.  If so what kind of rail is it, it's not anything like those "tactical" rails you see sticking out the frame.  I want to know if I could think about geting a laser/light on this bad boy.  can't figure this one out.  thanks

If you do not know what your rights are, you do not have them.

That is a rail, just not a standard one. You can get an adapter at Condors Flight or Your Gun Parts for $20 bucks or so that will let you mount a Weaver or Picatinny accessory.
I'll leave the "Why?" for someone else.
