I have a Bersa .380 with only the one seven round mag with which it was supplied. I cleaned the mag for the first time the other day and discovered that the spring was bent to the point that it would not lay flat on the table. This may be the cause of the occasional FTE I have gotten during the break-in period. I also noticed there is a rattle when the mag is fully loaded and tapped against my hand. My question? Is the mag spring covered by the guarantee? And if so do I have to send in the pistol or can a new spring be sent out with proof of purchase?
