I would like to know if the gun can be waxed? That would help smooth out the finish and keep it from rusting and protect the finish. I use a synthetic wax on my Motorcycle that works great.

In short, yes. It works nicely. Don't use a cleaner wax or a polish, it has abrasive.

I did it.  There was a thread a while ago about using Butchers Boston Wax.  I got some, and it is nice.  Smooth, and cleans easily.  I'm planning on using it on others.  Just another tidbit of info that I lifted from Bersatalk.

I tried using Mothers carnuba....  didn't work.  It wasn't thick enough to keep sweat from rusting it.  10W-30 synthetic helped alot.

I bought some off XD Talk and it works great. Put it on, slightly melt it in all the cervices. Just remembered that it is called Armadillo
