I'm really interested in the Bersa .45 UC in a black matte finish. No shiny stuff.  I'm wondering what they go for at a gun shop. This guy I deal with has some really decent prices but i want to check.

I got mine end of last year in the Portland, OR area new in the box for $330.00 with only 1 mag. Its my fav gun and even considering the hard to get and spendy mags its worth alot more if you ask me!

I went back to that gunstore and snagged that BT45UC for $329.99 + sales tax. It was cheaper than the 9UC I bought at the same store a year ago.

I'm weak, weak I tell you. My errands keep taking me right past this gunstore, and that gun has been calling my name for 3 weeks.

My errands this afternoon will include a visit to the local range.

Well, my first impression is I like it. I was expecting a bigger thump from the recoil compared to the 9UC, and a louder bang, but I didn't notice either. For me, the BT380 has more felt recoil.

I'll start another thread rather than hijack this one. Pictures and more details forthcoming tomorrow.

I think it's gonna be a sweet shooter.

I'm glad somebody else said that, I thought it was just me.  I was surprised at how much jump the .380 had for such a small round, and when I got the .45 I expected it to be substantially worse.  It's not.  Maybe it's all about what you expect, but I figured the heavier bullet at about the same pressure level would be attendantly more pronounced.  Maybe it's the wider backstrap, and a slightly different grip.  Whatever it is, I don't think the 45 kicks any harder than the .380.  But judging from the reaction of the bowling pins I shot with both, I feel like I'm delivering a much more potent blow with the 45....(duh!)

If you can shoot Home Invaders, what's wrong with shooting Homeland Invaders?

My Bersa 380CC has more bite then my .45UC. I think it has something to do with the time warp continuum.. I’m told that they only make the 380CCs on Tuesdays and Thursdays where they make the .45UC’s on any day of the week but only in the months that have an R in their name. There the bite on the .45 is quite a bit less. Now if your talking about when you pull the trigger? That would be a different story.

I carry my .45UC all the time now quite comfy IWB in my UBG holster. I figure anything less would just smaller!

My gun shop finially got back to me on a Matte Black .45 Thunder UC.  $299.00 plus $10 background check plus sales tax and that would be $327.54 otd. Problem is, none of his suppliers have any so I'm SOL for now

Thats a good buy Tom but I guess it dosnt matter if you cant get it. I was in my LGS a couple of days ago sniffin around, thinking about trading my PF9 in on a Bersa 9.. The gunstore guy was excited about getting my PF9 but couldnt tell me when he will be getting his next Bersa. And it seemed like not too long ago he had a pretty good supply of them in stock..

I think Bersa sales are starting to take off. People are descovering the value of this fine weapon. I think it would be smart to snag what ever Bersa's you want in the near future. It wouldnt surprise me to see the prices starting to creep up as they continue to get harder to find..

I just bought the last one (black matte) Target World had in Cincy for $322.00 with an extra mag. You can't beat a Bersa for the value of your dollar!!!
