    Replying to Private Messages

Please be advised, when you receive a Private Message from another user, in many cases you receive an e-mail notification of that message (you can configure this behavior in your user profile).  Although the message is from another user, the e-mail message is being sent from administrator@bersatalk.com.  If you click the "reply" button in your e-mail application, the response will go to administrator@bersatalk.com instead of the actual user.

At the bottom of the e-mail notification of the private message is a message stating "Click on the link below to reply to the private message."  Clicking on that link will take you to the proper screen to send a reply.

This is by design, in order to protect your e-mail address in cases where you do not want to give it out.  If you wish to use regular e-mail to communicate, you can send the other party your e-mail address in your private message, but it is up to them to type it in.  The administrator@bersatalk.com account is not monitored by a human so any messages sent to that account are lost.

Sorry for the inconvinience of any previously lost messages. I hope this clears up any confusion.

I'm just posting here to take off the "100th Member" post at the top of the forum page.
