Dallas_Dave:No problems with 7 + 1. Carry with hammer down and saftey off and your ready to go.
Yep, that's the preferred method by most. I also pull the hammer back about 1/4 inch until it clicks, which lets the trigger come a little bit closer to the single action position before it meets any resistance.
