Safety lever missing from new gun.

I bought a new Firestorm Mini9 dual tone a little over a month ago and when I picked it up from my FFL (transfered in from Gunbroker sale) I noticed the safety lever was missing.  The seller offered help, so no complaints there.

We both called SGS and requested the part.  It was out of stock and would have to be ordered.  This was back on June 11th.  Now over a month later and after calling each week, still no safety lever for my gun.  It is the one on the right side that is just a lever and pin from what I can tell.

Any other service centers have this part?

    Thanks

    Todd

I would give that seller a bad score for sure, was it listed as new?

Youe problem is with the seller You should have refused the gun  Not accepted. it.

This is why I buy no gun over internet.    Seller if honest would refund money and pay for return shipment. You dealer could have ordered you this pistol.   Since this is not a warrenty repair  you might get old waiting on that part.

Re: Safety lever missing from new gun.

The problem is that it is a new gun that came from the factory that way.  I have the accompanying invoice from the wholesaler showing when it was purchased.

The seller posted pictures but due to some shadows it could not be seen.  I do not hold him at fault.  He offered to replace and even pay my transfer fee, shipping fees, etc.  It is a fixable issue but I cannot seem to get good response from SGS.

Why would you say this is not a warranty repair?

    Thanks Royce.

Dee at SGS is supposed to be looking for the part to send to me.  She was going to check with other service centers and I was hoping you or another would have one.  Any chance you could just send to me?  It is the right side safety lever (black) and does not seem like it would be too hard to install.

Otherwise, how do I go about sending to you?

No, we won't just send the part. As for shipping it to us, there are shipping instructions at the top of the Tech Talk Page. Please let us know what you decide.

    Thanks.

I am going to try to get that out early this week.  What would you expect the turn around time to be?
