Anyone have some of the new clotting agents used to stop bleeding in their kits?  I really want to get some of this stuff for my emergency kit.

I carry Celox, but I think its more likely to be used for something other than a bullet. Asherman or other chest seals are a good thing for bullet holes.

You can find Celox and Quikclot online.  The new one is WoundStat and you still must get it directly from the company.  Some of the new ones are a pressure bandage impregnated with a bunch of the clotting material.  I also saw one made specifically for bullet wounds where you had an applicator to squirt the powder into a bullet hole.

I thought you used gunpowder and a match . In King of New York movie. Larry Fishburn  had a simple item  for bullet wounds. . Any one remember what he used .  (was in the black bag. )
