    Bersa CC v Ruger LCP

Well today I added to my handgun collection.  I went to the local gun shop thinking I would buy me a Ruger LCP.  They were in stock for $300 plus tax and state fees.

After holding it for a while, it just did not feel right.  Too light, too small.  I then asked to look at the Kel-tec, same size and weight.

I then, reluctantly, asked to see the Bersa CC.  I bet you can guess what came home.  $265.00 plus tax and state fees. Big Smile [:D]

I do have a question that I think has been answered before.  Does a standard 7 round mag fit the CC?
I have 4 mags for my other T380.

Its ok if you didn't have enough to buy the Ruger Wink [;)] Just kidding Bro.

    Gratz on the new pistola

If you brought it home with you and you have 4 mags for the T380 why do you need to ask if they fit? Can't you just try them?

I have the P3AT and the Bersa T-.380cc, I think you made a good choice. No the 7 round mags don't work in the cc

The cc belongs to my wife, she put Marshal grips on it with the thumb groove. I thought it was stupid until I picked it up and held it and found it molds itself to your hand.

    Enjoy your new cc

The answer to the mag question is.......maybe.I had 2 and they worked fine in my CC. I would try it, and then just use them as extra for the range, and keep the 8 rd mag for SD.

Re: Bersa CC v Ruger LCP

According to the Eagle Imports website, the mags for the CC and the standard BT380 are NOT interchangeable. But some people have found that, apparently, they seem to work in either gun. If I owned and carried a CC, I'd make it a priority to acquire a couple of back up CC mags for carry purposes.

You know what would be nice? If someone who owned both guns (and a digital camera, and the will and the skill to use it) Big Smile [:D] would take some pictures of the CC and regular mags and post them in the photo section of the forum. Particularly, the top of the mags, with different views of each. Someone could perform a service for their fellow BTers by doing that.

Now, see how this thread has gone from a Bersa CC v Ruger LCP theme to a CC v standard BT380 magazine theme?

You can't post pictures in this or other forums?  I have camera, but don't have mags.  It would be nice to know if the larger capacity mag will fit the Bersa BT380 Duo-Tone that I just bought.

Yes, you certainly can post pictures in this and other forums. But what happens is the forum threads kind of get lost in the archives after awhile and the pictures are easier to find if posted in the photo section. So I always encourage people to post important pictures in the photo section where they'll be easy to find.

If by larger capacity mags, you're referring to the CC mags, I'm sure the mags will "fit". It's just a question of if they'll "work". The "company line" is that they're not interchangeable, so they might work and they might not. They're not guaranteed to work in the standard BT380.

The 9 round DLX mags are interchangeable, and will fit your BT380, and they're guaranteed to work.

Yep, that is what I was meaning, the 9 shot magazine.

I took the new Bersa T380 CC to the range today. Both the magazine that came with the gun and one of my spare T380 magazines performed flawlessly.

Re: Bersa CC v Ruger LCP

I tried a CC mag loaded with DPX in my Thunder and it worked fine . Now that was only one mag and your results might be different . As noted the CC mag isn't suppose to be used in the Thunder  That is word from factory and Eagle.   So now you have been told many times your not suppose to use CC in Thunder. Smile [:)]

The hang out the bottom 9 rounder works in Thunder.  Might be fine for home But I wouldn't leave the house with that ugly mag.in my pistol.Stick out tongue [:P]

    Mike,

What I tested was a 7 round T-380 magazine in my new T-380 CC.  I performed flawlessly with PMC "Bronze" 380 ammo.  I still have more "testing" to do with different ammo etc.

I have both a T380 Deluxe and the 380CC. The CC magazine works in the T380 deluxe but I have yet to try the other way. With the CC magazine in the Deluxe the gun fits my pocket much like the CC but slightly more bulky. The Deluxe larger capacity magazine is too large for pocket carry for me.
