Brand New 380 CC Feed issues

    Hi All, Hi Royce,

I picked up my CC today.  I've been reading here that it need 200 rounds or so to break in.  So with the help of a friend we put 100 WWB 95grn FMJ, 100 Gold Dot and 50 or so Golden Saber's through it.  At first I had one or two of the  45 degree angle, slug pushed up against thetop of the barrel ans slide issue that is described in the FTF mag related post.  As we went through the rounds the slide would stay back.  Slapping the bottom of the magazine or using my thumb to push the slide forward would allow me to fire the next round.

It was purchased new yesterday evening and came with one mag so I don't think it's a fake mag issue.

Hoping there's a quick fix.  Any ideas are welcome.

    Thank you

Sounds like there is an issue with binding someplace.  You should't have to push the slide forward for it to close

Did you clean all the gun oil out of it before you started firing it?  Take off the grips and clean out as much oil as possible with Q tips.

Take the slide off and check the slide for any burrs or snags it might have.

Was the slide coming to lock back, or closing most of the way then stopping? Check to make sure the recoil spring is on correctly, with the tight end on the barrel first. Let us know if it is still acting up.
