When testing balisitics, I here talk of the "water jug test".  Can someone explain the proceedure?  I assume you fill a gallon plastic water jug with water and fire into it.  At what distance?  What should I be looking for?

Google "Box of truth"  See all kinds of bullet penetration examples on water jugs, sheetrock walls etc.  Very pratical and entertaining

First need more than one jug  With a 380 better have 3 min if a HP ball add  3 more  or a good back stop I had Hornday 32 HP out of a KT go thru 3 jugs, Nevered opened

I shoot at around 10'  that where you will most likely need you pistol. But you can do  20 or 30 its up to you .

 If you want make a long U shaped box  and fill with  large zip lock bags of water packed close together.   .
