I personaly think it's just sad that we have to get licenced to carry a gun.  I thought the right to bear arms was one of those inalianable rights, you know life, liberty, and all that.  When did we go wrong, I missed my history lesson on this one.

You don't have to have a Licence to carry a gun. Anyone in the state I live in you can carry a gun Open carry (unless you are a felon or been convicted of a domestic violance or have been proven ment unfit) you need a Licence to conceal carry. I am sure different state laws apply.

Yup, same in Michigan.  Anyone who is legally allowed to own a handgun can open carry it (with certain pistol free zone exceptions), without any type of license.  The difficult part is that not all police officers know that it is legal to open carry and not all police departments know that the state has ruled that local ordinances can NOT supersede state law in regards to the sale, ownership, transportation, or possession of handguns.

I thought I'd heard about open carry, I'll have to check all the state laws to see where i should move, LOL.  Then all we need to do is kick all thiese new world order cronies out before they "re-educate" us to death.  Anyone familiar with the Geogia Guide Stones. 6 billion+ down to 500 million I believe it says, that's a lot of subtraction, I wonder how they plan to pull that off.

hey, look at that, I think it's legal to open carry in my state, NC.  I've heard a couple warnings along the way, but I might have to check into this.  I'm going to post an open carry spot in general talk, this is getting interesting.

Remember America became a world power with out Federal Gun laws or Drug laws  We didn't have all the Taxes and Lic. requirements either.   Control and Money to expand that control.

Here a idea If  speeding is a safety issue. Then demand all funds be used say to help the poor  or for some other use. Not General fund . Bet you can't get the law passed. Ohio is worst in nation and collects millions in  speeding fines over Holiday week ends.  Drunk driving use money to rehab drunk drivers.

Bet you can't change were money goes. So much for public safety.  Control and greed.

on the open carry issue. My state constitution says a right, but that they can regulate. Seems a licence is needed to carry concealed, and they have defined that any gun concealed in whole or in part is concealed. In a holster, partly concealed. Hanging from a string around your neck, partly concealed.
To chicken to strap one to my side and test the waters.

Why do we need to register to vote? Some things make sense and some things don't. I personally don't have a problem with the license concept, the system isn't perfect but it does help weed out ex-felons and others that are not allowed to carry. As long as they are required to give the license to those that qualify then I'm ok with it. Its when they can be decision makers with the license, that's when I have problems. I don't mind that the government knows I have a license to carry, its my right as an American citizen. I think the license concept (although it is ineffectual in many respects) is a means of ensuring that BGs don't get them.

Same with 4473 you fill out.  Dealer must keep for X years If he shuts down He then sends to  BATF and they have. So between the state and the feds we are on record. This why they want to close the so called gun show loop hole. Next step no face to face sales  with dealer  and paper work. Some of the commie states already have this .   If feds and swat show up at your house and want your guns  are you really going to fight. . I you do you will be killed and the Govt will make you out a nut case in media..  Only a Armed risistance in force would stand a chance  and that  is almost inpossible .

No we only have the gun rights that the Federal Govt says we have. The great ruling by SCOTUS made that clear in June.  You have right to a handgun for SD in your house  And the  Govt has the right to ristrict ownership and possesion of certain weapons   We got screw in june and though we won.  In order to get Kennedy vote  They had to give in. Or else all would have been lost.

New time we will lose as court will be packed against us. This why NRA didn't ever want this to go to the big court.   The new DC laws are already showing you what the years ahead hold  .

The state of Califonia has STUPID gun laws! E.g you can open carry a unloaded firearm handgun or riffle but watch out caused then you might just get charged with brandishing a firearm. They want you to carry your gun and firearm in two diffrent locations while transporting. BUT watch out u better not have a box of ammo in your glove box and gun in the trunk or your in violation. Actually dont get caught with a box of ammo in the glove box period cause thats a violation! Dont get caught with a full magazine in the car and you gun at home cause thats considered a loaded weapon!!!!! You can Purchase a new AR-15 with a colapsible stock (10 round undetachable mag of couse) but you better not but one on your mini-14. I can keep going but im getting mad and depressded lol

Bearing arms is a constitutional right. Voting is not. Voting is a privilege granted by each state. My state OR allows open carry but also allows each local juristriction to decide for itself. So you may be carrying legally in the morning and find yourself breaking the law by noon because you drove into a town that does not allow open carry. Its all our fault. We keep voting into office the same people that infringe on our constitutional rights and let these infringements stay in place rather than repealed.
