Its all over for you now. You are already buying grips (stocks) thinking about another 1911  and did your first minor gunsmithing .  You are on fast track down the 1911 addict  road.  .  Their is no turning back Soon you will be like Mason  tin foil hats voices and missing teeth ( money saved on tooth paste and denist will buy another 1911)  Yes another helpless addict.

save some money on next gun and update the phone mason.
funny thing on wood grips, i wanted some for a taurus pt99, marshal grips sent me a pair for berreta to see if fit, they dont. I traded a rifle for this gun 10 years ago, my last trip to gun range i remembered a padded carry case i got with the trade was still in bottom of gun cabinet, when i dug it out, something was in it. Inside was a nylon holster and a set of nice wood grips with gold taurus logo on them, must have been original grips. was like x-mas in july!

Masonnnn, is that safety off on the 1911???  I see the mag is out, but your cocked and not locked.  Personally, I like the phone.  I think I had one like it in the 70's.

Re: New Grips for my 1911A1..Us army

Thanks guys.. Saftey is off... actually most of the gun is off. I just put the slide and bushing on for photo. Barell and most of guts were not in gun. I striped it apart and am shipping it off to browns for some fun stuff. Will post a pic when I get it back in 4-6 weeks. The fhn shoots great. Has been in family for as long as I remember and I first shot it as a kid. Its very heavy way more then the Colt. and being only a .32 its quite pleasant to shoot. and accurate too. I put a couple of mags through it every year or two.

Way cool grip story Stidgun.. Kinda like yur very own Karma to you.

You guys like my phone? I use it daily.. My old phone still has a crank on it. Somebody was saying they have phones now with buttons and they dont have cords... Can you believe that! Geeze Loueze, whats next?

Holy smokes, Mason.  That CZ is wartime(I'm a WW2 buff).  Do you have a story with it?

32 cal, Nazi occupied manufacture-  Is that the holster for it?

A buddy hase the CZ .7.65 he got from a border guard when the wall came down.  He was stationed over there.
