Can't have just one  can weSmile [:)]   Rock Island did  don't know if they still do  Charles Daily had one also. But gee these all made in those Islands and you don't want one of those. So lets start with Colt Kimber and Springfield  Those won't break the Bank but will reduce the account some.  Colt better of the last 3 as for relieabilty.

You can find a used  Compact  in 500 to 650 range   New 750 up

    Bersa Thunder,
    PPK/S,
    1990 Colt Mustang,
    380 Kel Tec

    AsH,

RIA has one, I ve been looking at the high standard compact. It has a little more detail than the rock.

Springfield makes a compact crusader for a little more than the two prior.

I think after these the price goes quite a bit higher .

Did the "bug " bite you?

Re: I take the 1911 plunge

I just remembered there is a Gun show comming up in 2 weeks. I think I will wait and see what I might find there, might even do some trading...now what did I do with that Glock. Wink [;)] It would have to be one sweet deal on a compact 1911 that I really like alot before I would part with it though. It still kicks ass. I am finding out I really like the old schooll metal Pistols alot, I still have room for alittle modern tech bling though.Surprise [:O]

I guess baggage class is better than being bungie strapped to the Hull.  Hmmm I shouldn't give MT any idea's.
