What store did you purchase the ammo at.I was curious because i usually buy my ammo at wally world and it has been a while since i purchased any ammo for my .45 .

This was at Sportsman's Warehouse, I normally buy at WalMart the last 100 pack of WWB 230 fmj  I bought from WallyWorld was $29.99 I just finished up shooting what I had left because I buy 3-100 pack at a time, I'm afraid to see what their 100 packs are now. Bud's has Independence 230 fmj for $18.00bx. my S&W will feed them 100% but accuracy past 15yds. is not good at all, flyers everywhere.

I got some .45 CCI Blazer at Sportsman Whse a few weeks ago I'm thinking it was $15.95 / box of 50. I can get it for $14.95 at the cop shop range but not always going that way and not worth the price of gas for special trip.

Did you get and do you use the Lee Factory Crimp for the 45?  Mine just came in and I'm going to put it in the #5 position of my LNL. Looks like I'll try the VV N340 as the first recipe I'm going to try for the 45 ACP.

Yep, I use the Lee FCD on all auto rounds; it works great and guarantees the ammo will chamber in any pistol.

It's $14.88 at a couple I have been to. Back in January I was getting it for $12.88.

I was suprised to find out not all Wallworld prices were always the same, usually $1-2 difference between the four stores here.

My local WallyWorld  DOES NOT carry CCI Blazer in .45cal. anymore, no one in the place can tell me why either, they only carry WWB for .45's,  the next closest WW is about 20 miles away that does carry it, kind of defeats the purpose  for me getting it cheaper.

I have a speculation, simply because I have run into it before with Wally World and other places. If the inventory control computer says there is an on hand quantity and no sales are recorded (because there isn't any), they will never recieve any more on their shipments. The cycle counts get just initialed and passed on, so the problem never shows up until a physical inventory. By this time there is no sale history for a specified period, the computer then pulls the product as a non moving item. Because one or more people are lazy you no longer get the product you would have been buying all along, if it had been there for the last six months.
Works well to hire cheap doesn't it.
