Welcome to Bersa Talk, encato. In a recent thread we talked about putting a T9 barrel in a 9UC, and just out of curiousity, I did it, since I have both guns. You see the result. Seems to work okay, but I've not fired it this way, and I'm not saying you should, but another forum member says he's been doing it for over a year and has seen no ill effects and it seems to work great too, Here's a link to that thread.

and then a couple pages later, this:
lrb111:Pt, I've been swapping a full sized barrel into my UC9 for varying reasons, for over a year now. Works great.

You can get a T9 barrel at Eagle Imports. Here's a link: http://www.bersafirearmsusa.com/products/index.php?cPath=23_153_157_159&osCsid=5114ff8f31564cffa8913ee78062ac41
Looks like you can get a barrel for $28. I don't know what the shipping would be. And you might have to wait while they order it from the factory, because I don't know if they're going to have it in stock. I suppose you could call during business hours and ask.
Incidentally, I don't know how this modification would effect the warranty on your 9UC. You might post a question in the Tech Talk section and see what Royce, the warranty gunsmith has to say about it.
