CC Holster for motorcycles? Sportbikes to be exact.

Yesturday, while arming up for the first time as a new CCW holder, I realized that an Uncle Mikes IWB holster doesn't securly hold my T380 while hunched over on my FZR1000.  It hot in FL here, and I usually wear a t-shirt and shorts when its too hot to wear leather.  Any suggestions?

You drive a FRZ1000 down here in the ZOO. Your time here on this forum is limited. If you have it up on one wheel as most do in Orlando you will get the title of honorary ZOOKEEPER.Wink [;)] Vietnam was safer then negotiating the snow birds and old gray mares in the Sunshine State.  On a sober note check with our forum member who owns UBG holsters. He would be of help in this arena.

RC....some of us have asked Nate to make a shoulder holster....IWB on a motorcycle is uncomfortable as heck and if your pistol was needed, it would be next to impossible to get it out of your pants.....When I am riding my motorcycle, most of the time I use a fanny pack that has a built in holster, other times it is my shoulder holster, never IWB on the motorcycle.....

I wouldn't be caught dead in shorts But I do carry my 1911 in a UBG outside waist  holster. It stays put  I take my t shirt and tuck it up under my belt both front and back of holster . Keeps shirt from blowing up and exposing  pistol to world at a 180mph  Oh I sorry I for got you got a 1000 cc brand X  well will  work at  slow speeds to  Big Smile [:D]. When you stop just pull shirt loose. The Thunder I carry in a UBG IWB and it stays in place also. Still do the shirt tuck  befor and behind

MT...my Harley lives in the garage when I am not riding it. It is a good bike....it does not make a mess or tear anything up, especially me.....Wink [;)].

Years ago I lived in a ground floor apt . I keep my Honda in the living room . Bad area.   Now these apt were set up so my bed room was under the apt above living room .  This guy partied and made all kinds of racket. I asked but he wouldn't listen.  So I started to warm my bike up early for work  about 3:30 I had to be at work a 7am.  A tricked out Honda no mufflers just megaphones with no baffels . As it warmed up I would take up to 8 or 9 grand to make sure plugs didn't load up  . He got the idea and became a mouse .

I had some neighbors like that one time only they lived underneath me....they would play their music so loud that we could not converse at my place.....There was a bowling alley right behind me and they had thrown out a bunch of old bowling balls....I took one to my apartment and when the music started, I started playing basketball with the bowling ball.....It didn't take them long to figure out that the bowling ball was keeping rythym with their music.........Wink [;)].

I have Rush Slip-ons on my bike....We pulled the baffles out right after I had them installed....They are quite loud, so I use them more like a horn....folks can hear me coming....you know......"Loud Pipes Save Lives!...."

They sell bags for guns that hook to your gas tank using magnets.

R you going to leave your gun in a bag on you bike when you stop? Or remove from bag so whole world can see you put into its holster . Pistol belongs on you not on tank or in a purse . If you must bag it use a fanny pack .  Hidding under seat better than a removeable tank bag. I ride most every day . I see tripple numbers on speedo   every time I ride and IWB or OWB  with my T shirt tucked under belt when riding has never exposed my pistol   Just my 02. Smile [:)]

Hayabusa, Worlds fastest touring bike. No sense looking at boreing country . After all getting their fast leaves more time to party. Party!!! [<:o)]Beer [B]Pizza [pi] Music [8]

I don't use a bag, I just seen it at the motorcycle store. It did look cool.

I ride IWB and have no issues with it, then again, I don't ride a crotch rocket. I don't see how people can ride bend over all the time! LOL

Re: CC Holster for motorcycles? Sportbikes to be exact.

I don't see how people can ride bend over all the time! LOL   Acually on the Busa or the ZX-14  riders are not laid over that far. Now on the a lot of others you are.

Really not uncomfortable once you get used to it.  Look at pedal bikes  American were always cruiser set up wide handle bars and fat tires . Europe rode in a bent foward position  with low bars. thin tires   At 60 MPH  who has less wind ristance  you setting up catching all the wind in chest or me tucked over  presenting a smaller  mass.   I have ridden American bikes and ricers  I perfer the ricer for handling and  all around performance  Next would be  German , Italy , If despert Might buy english

I will say this I will never own or  ever again ride one of those 2 or 3 wheel cars called a gold wing.  I will  stop riding I don't need  all that junk on a motorcycle its just unless weight as far as Iam concerned . Riding a bike should be fun and even exciting  Gold wing for old people who can't stand being away from their Caddy or Linclon and want to cruise the interstates . flame suit on.
