    Easier finished to care for?

    Hi All,

Just wanted to check about the ease caring for the different finishes.  Are any of them more resistant to wear?  Easier to maintain?  Reason I ask, is I'm still new when it comes to guns.  I have the T380 in nickle and saw about hoppes causing issues, etc.  I want to pick up a 9UC and thought that if one of the finished was easier to maintain, I'd lean that way.  I like the  idea of  spraying down and wiping down the gun and having it look good.  Initially I was looking at teh stainless, thinking that would be the way to go. But it's about 70 bucks more and not sure if the expense is justified or not.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

    Brian

Get the stainless, you won't be sorry.

I've never had any maintenance issues with any of my matte Bersa pistols. I'd hesitate to get a nickel finished pistol because of the maintenance/flaking issue. I'm tempted by that stainless 9UC, though, because it looks pretty good.

    I'm no expert, I'm just, well---opinionated!
