    Improving 380CC Sights?

I recognize that the 380CC is primarily a point-and-shoot tool rather than a target pistol, but it would be NICE to be able to see the front sight a little better. Any tips? What I think I want (not that it's at all realistic, of course) is one of those nifty fiberoptic front sights. Maybe fluorescent paint?

My sight's came stock with red dots and and its the best I could hope for, in the low profile sites.

AsH's pix above are just like The Missus' new 380CC (except that the left rear orange dot fell out already).  My matte black 380CC has white-filled dots and they're even better, especially in dim light.

Using that light green glow-in-the-dark paint is a neat idea, though - I might try that on both of them.

I have the same opinion of my CC sights.

I put a dot of glow paint on the front and two on the rear and a dab of fingernail polish as a protector.   It's worked fine so far.

most machine shops would probably be able to bore out a small hole, which you could use to insert a small length of colored fiber optic cable... would be very custom and probably run you about 50 bucks... i can promise there is next to no one doing "custom parts" in your area for these little guns... however, with planning and asking around, alomost anything you could think of getting done should be able to be done with in a 4 hr radius of your local... google and the yellow pages are powerful tools when it comes to customisation...

im thinking about sending a set of grips to a local motorcycle shop with a CNC machine and getting billet aluminum grips made (they advertise being able to copy anything you can bring in on the machine!)

I've used bright yellow paint on the front sight.

I found myself not using it for true self defence practice.
