    Re: Kahr PM9

One of my employees has one. I have put maybe 100 rounds through it over a few scessions. Its small and expensive and bites the dickens out of my hand. Was worse then my old PF9 was for sure. My BT45UC is easier on the hand and for me its more accurate.  My BT380cc is almost the same size and half the price. .. All in all it was ok but Have shot guns just as good at half the price. The Gun snobs seem to like it!

    Re: Kahr PM9

In general, Kahrs are great guns... but stear clear of the polymer-framed ones (at least the PM series).  Seems to be nothing but problems, not to mention the hard shooting as Mason related.

In fairness to Kahr, the PM40's seem to be having the worst of it.  Haven't really heard anything bad about the PM9's, though.  Great customer service, too... guy I know ended up receiving an Elite model from Kahr, and other goodies, because he was having so much trouble with his brand new PM40!  Of course, he had to ship it to them three times, plus the cost of defensive ammo to run through the weapon verifying (lack of) reliability every time. Re: Kahr PM9

Had one for about a year before I traded it in for 2 older S&Ws I always wanted. The PM9 had a really smooth trigger and I thought extremely accurate for it's overall size and barrel length. Good sights were a plus.

I like to pocket carry, and the PM9 never felt 100% comfortable to me (as compared to a J-frame for instance).

Expensive, well-made, and I never had a problem with mine after 1000+ rounds through it. Just didn't make me want to keep it long enough given my bias towards S&Ws.

    Re: Kahr PM9

I have a PM9 and pocket carry it frequently in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster.  I have over 600 rounds through it.  It functions flawlessly.   I debated between the PM9 and PM40 and decided that I could get back on target quicker with the PM9.
