In general, Kahrs are great guns... but stear clear of the polymer-framed ones (at least the PM series). Seems to be nothing but problems, not to mention the hard shooting as Mason related.
In fairness to Kahr, the PM40's seem to be having the worst of it. Haven't really heard anything bad about the PM9's, though. Great customer service, too... guy I know ended up receiving an Elite model from Kahr, and other goodies, because he was having so much trouble with his brand new PM40! Of course, he had to ship it to them three times, plus the cost of defensive ammo to run through the weapon verifying (lack of) reliability every time. ![Embarrassed [:$]](/emoticons/emotion-10.gif)
