Big Smile [:D] New BT380 owner

    Hi yall!
I just purchased my first Bersa (and handgun for that matter) from my brother in law. He gave me a really good deal! He let it go for a mere $60! I actually paid $4 more in shipping than the pistol itself.

Anyways, Its a duo tone thunder 380. I haven't taken her out to the range yet because I still need a few more things such as muffs, eyes, and some cleaner. Oh and some more ammo! I purchased a 50 rnd box to have in case of emergency but I will need a little more than that for my first trip out.

Once I finally get to the range I will have to give a report.

Hoppe's won't hurt the duotone Bersa. It's nickel finish pistols that are allergic to bore cleaning solvents such as Hoppe's that attack copper substrate.

Hi RiveraRa, and a hearty welcome from me and all my crew here. And congrats on a great deal and a great gun. Buy lots of tin foil... Check out my new line of tin foil hats and underware. I've invested heavly in Alcoa wrap. So buckle up and keep your hands inside at all times and enjoy your ride here.

This seems like a great community. One question though....does aluminum foil work as well as the tin foil? Wink [;)]

One in the same RR, its just a plot from the government to try and steer people away from buying tin products from Oz.

I have only put about 200 rounds through my BT380 but I have used Magtech and Remington both with no problems at all. I love my little gun.

shouldn't you old guys ease the new guys in and hold off on the tin foil hats just a bit......you know so that you don't scare them off  first thing? We don't want to give the appearance that all of us might quite possibly be nuts.....just a thought.  Anyway....welcome new guy.  & here's your smileyBig Smile [:D]

I'm new here too.  Don't yet have a Bersa.  Figure I get info from the horses mouth.  What ga tin foil/aluminum foil?  Better reception?  Perhaps Tin Man toilet paper?  what is with the foil?
