Ditto on the "flip versus push". I was surprised at what I felt in the web at the base of my thumb (where the beavertail hits), but wouldn't consider this a deal-breaker for you. I would suggest you consider a glove for range time if this were an issue. For the time-of-need, this would be the least of your worries.
I'm quite pleased with this little gun - conceals very well, and the daughter shoots well with it. I would like to see an easier-to-see front sight, but really this is a point-and-shoot tool rather than a target pistol.
Price is excellent, and takedown for cleaning is quite easy, too. Beware using the 380 magazines, though: as I understand they will jam on you. Stick with the 380CC magazines; if you want the pinkie toe, you can get an aftermarket version from www.condorsflight.com (though you lose a round in capacity).
