Eagle Imports doesn't manufacture guns, but they contract with several gunmakers to make guns for them for import and sale in the U.S.A. The Firestorm brand name is owned by Eagle Imports, not by Bersa. Bersa S.A. makes guns for Eagle Imports under contract, as do a couple of other manufacturers; Metro Arms, for example, who makes the new 1911 style .45acp pistol. So if your gun is a Firestorm, it's not necessarily a Bersa, too, unless it was actually manufactured by Bersa and the Bersa company name appears on the gun somewhere.
Sometimes it may seem like we're beating a dead horse, here. But the question keeps coming up. In my view, it qualifies for a post in the FAQ Forum, because it is in fact, a frequently asked question.
