I'll get pics up as soon as they come in. I haven't seen any 380CC grips with both checkering AND the Bersa logo before. AFAIK Denes hasn't done this yet. But, after seeing this pic of regular Thunder 380 grips:

I asked him if he could checker the 380CC thin grips and add the logo, and he said yes. Can't wait to see them myself.

As far as the UC9 goes, I may be putting that on the back burner for now, but I definitely still plan to get one. My female friend has her carry gun, but she is now moving into her first home and will living by herself for the first time, and I feel she really needs a shotgun for home defense. So the shotgun will be first, then I will work on saving up for the UC9 again. Probably going to get her a Saiga semi-auto so she doesn't have to deal with a pump. Plus should be very fun at the range. =)

So many guns to buy, so little money.

The Saiga would certainly be fun.

I do like the trigger guard of the Bersa better than the Firestorm. Also, I just don't like the name "Firestorm." Don't mean to ruffle anyone's feathers as there's really no logic behind it, but to me "Firestorm" just sounds like something you would name a toy, not a gun. Again, that's just me. I'm sure Firestorms are every bit as good as Bersas (duh), but I just like the sound of "Bersa" better. ;) Anyone know if Marschalgrips.com has any plans to make grips for the UC9/Firestorm Mini?

You mentioned that Firestorm is every bit as good as Bersa.  Firestorm is a model of Bersa Mfg, along with the Thunder Nine series.  So in essence the Firestorm is a Bersa.

My FireStorm Mini .45 says Bersa right on the side of the pistol.

Actually, FireStorm is a brand name given to a number of different handgun brands imported by Eagle Imports (who is the only importer of Bersa, SA in the US) and a slighty modified Bersa happens to be one of those guns. EI also imports a revolver called the Comanche from SA that is sold under the FireStorm label as well as a new 1911 style pistol from the Philippines. Like DA said, the FireStorm Mini's and the Bersa UC's are the exact same gun aside from the shape of the trigger guard and all parts are interchangable.

Eagle Imports doesn't manufacture guns, but they contract with several gunmakers to make guns for them for import and sale in the U.S.A. The Firestorm brand name is owned by Eagle Imports, not by Bersa. Bersa S.A. makes guns for Eagle Imports under contract, as do a couple of other manufacturers; Metro Arms, for example, who makes the new 1911 style .45acp pistol. So if your gun is a Firestorm, it's not necessarily a Bersa, too, unless it was actually manufactured by Bersa and the Bersa company name appears on the gun somewhere.

Sometimes it may seem like we're beating a dead horse, here. But the question keeps coming up. In my view, it qualifies for a post in the FAQ Forum, because it is in fact, a frequently asked question.
