    .45UC Mags FTF

I'm gettin 45mags I've ordered from everywhere all of a sudden. All Bersa factory branded btw. Trouble is every single one will not feed good. I'm talking like every other round FTF. Put one of my 2 old mags in and no problems. I've snaged 2 of the new mags and started working with them special. Leaving bullets in them for days, disassembling & cleaned, light oil wipe down and sanded springs checking mag case & follower for burs. Has helped some but select 2 still have a round or two ftf. Any suggestions on what I can do. Oh and the springs are in correct.

It sounds like the feed lips may need to be adjusted, check the angle of a round in the good mags and compare it to the new mags and see if they look the same. Let me know Bud.

Hi Royce, Thanks.. I checked and they are NOT the same.. The good mags have the rounds almost parell to top of the mag (feed lips?) the bad mags have the rounds resting at a steeper angle, front up. Please advise, and Thanks again!

If you have a good set of smooth paralel jaw pliers you can attempt to adjust the feed lips so that they match your good magazines. If it worries you, send them to me and we can do it. Just go slow and easy. You got the skill, just not the experience to know how much is too much.Smile [:)]

    Let me know.

Hi Royce, I worked over one of the bad mags pre your suggestion. Put 50 rounds through it last night and all fed fine. Think I got it. Got the rest of em on my "to do" list and will let ya know if there are any more troubles.

Thank you for your assistance with this.. Actually thanks for everything you do here.
