    Ralmanza:

I'm happy to hear you like your Houston Holster. If you want another one, I think I have one sitting in a drawer somewhere that I'll be happy to unload... because I hate the dang thing! I mean, it's a nice holster, but it doesn't let go of the gun and I end up giving myself a wedgie during the presentation, and then have to wrestle it out with two hands. Not good. Replaced it with a UBG holster, and then that with a K&D holster. I'm content now, but won't _really_ be happy until Blade-Tech (or someone) comes out with a Kydex IWB for it.

Congratulations on getting a good one!

Excellent choice - reasonable cost and very secure as well. Easy to conceal with a long t-shirt or jacket.....

rallmanza, what model houston paddle did you get for the 9uc and where did you get it from?  It sounds like it would be the cat's meow for me too.  And for others that use the paddle for larger/heavier  frame pistols, is the fit and snugness the same?  thanks, chuck

    BullsEye:

Thanks very much for the info... but unless I missed something, it's only made for the T380, not the Mini. Not really interested in hybrid holsters anyway (a friend tried a CrossBreed holster, and wasn't impressed). Certianly appreciate your help, though.

I am happy this holster is working out for most of us on this forum.  I must pipe in and say mine was a complete disaster.  First I ordered it just as they went to a new computer system, I got the bill but no order. I got hold of Dee at Eagle and she fixed the problem and sent one out.  The one I received was coated with this fine hair like coating. I started to notice the hair throughout the inner workings of my Bersa .380. I was constantly blowing it out with high pressure air.  The next thing is this hair took on a mind of its-own and started peeling off the holster. First in 1/8" spots, then the size of a dime then a quarter. The hair was so bad it now was on my clothes.  I called Dee at Eagle,(No return call) I took pictures and emailed them to Dee's attention at Eagle. (No return email)  Then a light came on and little voices came to the rescue, I walked over to the trash can and made a deposit.  End of story.

The holster holds the gun really well in my opinion, and is drawn with slight inward pressure while pulling the gun out of the holster, and yes,it is a smooth draw.Again.It is a twenty dollar holster and i think it is worth the investment, but i believe you won`t go wrong if you purchase one.I hope this helps.

I bought a Houston for my Bersa 380CC & like it pretty good, especially after I lightly sanded it with a drywall sanding sponge.  It was a little rough before.  Also, I noticed the draw was a lot easier after about 500 times.  Recommend using a 1 1/2" belt.

I saw a very similar holster that looked like it had a square button you push with the straight-out trigger finger to release;  it was on a guy's hip so didn't get the brand.  I think I'd like to have one of those.

Anyone know what it may be?

Sounds like a Blackhawk CQC Serpa holster.  Those are weapon-specific holsters, and their model list is quite limited, so you won't find one for any Bersa model.  They are great holsters, though.

I have one for my BT45UC. I dont like it. It marked my gun first time I used it and dosnt cover well under my shirts. Always bumping my gun with my arm. Had to walk around with my elbo bent out. Made me look that hombre walkin' into the saloon, hand a twitchin ready to draw, lookin for the man that "shot my paw". Anyway, I'm a big guy and shirts only come so large! Still It makes my hips look big and it has that mouse fir all over it just like RC said. I cant bring myself to throw it away but it is in my dead holster storage shed. I guess I'll never learn, Sorry Nate, I'll be good from now on!
