Some exciting news.  A box left on my doorstep and wa-la....2   9mm mags.  Of course I didn't get my gun...dah.  But if I hold it and point my finger...it's almost like having one.

no.... I ordered a 9 and 2 extra mags.  So far I've gotten the mags.  I guess I should have left this post under "thunder 9 mags" as I am not yet an official 9 guy.

So what's your plan? Are you going to load up your mag and carry? If you get in  a serious "social situation" you can brandish the loaded mag and tell the BG not to mess with you.

I wonder if that would work.

I wonder if you could get in trouble for "brandishing"?

Type slow for me, I don't understand. You ordered a 9mm and two mags, the mags were sent to your house???

The 9mm should be going to an FFL for you to pick up. Wouldn't they just send everything to the FFL at once? What is it that I'm missing?

Hope you get that gun soon, who knows where that fingers been!

Only the gun is required by law to go to the ffl dealer. The rest can go directly to the buyer.

And the mags you have received are extra mags, in addition to the 2 that come with the gun, right?

See, you were smart. Order your extra mags when you order the gun, then you don't have to wait for them.

Apparently, you still have to wait for the gun, though.

Sorry, missed the last post. I can use any brand I want in mine. If it's 9x19, it shoots it.

I carry Cor-Bon DPX.

Steel cased ammo is not recommended, though.

I've taken it out to the range twice now.  I found some blaser on sale and it has worked well from the first shot.  The gun seems to be a lot smoother than my 380.  A few more times and I may start to use as carry.  I use the plus now so the size is really pretty close.
