    Bersa 97 Magazine NEEDED

Hi ~ I own a Bersa Model 97 in .380 and really like it. Just got a deal on a Model 383 which looks very similar. Both are all steel frame, single action, and have the magazine release button on the left grip panel. I bought 2 Bersa magazines for it, both marked "Model 383, and they didn't fit at all. They were too long and have a little "bump" at the base of the magazine and this will not allow the entire magazine to insert.

Later, I was told that I needed the "early/old style" 383 magazine for the European style maazine release (in the grip, as I mentioned). Can't seem to find one. Tried my Model 97 magazine in the Model 383 and it works just great. But I have 2 guns and only 1 magazine.

I NEED a Model 97 magazine (I know it will work!) or an EARLY style 383 magazine. There seems to be (some) confusion re. magazines for the 383.

Does anyone know where I can obtain a Model 97 magazine (or an EARLY Model 383 magazine)? Please let me know?

    Thanks and Happy trails,

    Cowboy Rod

The internet or obsolete parts places are your best bet.
