    Shot the 22 this afternoon

This isn't a true range report with 3-5 different types of ammo and pics of targets, but I couldn't wait till Sat. Last night I took my Bersa/Firestorm apart and wiped the excess oil off before relubing it with FP-10. I noticed that all the major components ( even the barrel ) were matching #s and the inside of the gun didn't have any rough spots or mill marks. This afternoon I slipped away from the house long enough to shoot 50 rnds of CCI mini-mag. I set a tin can at 10 yds knocking it over with the 1st shot and pushing it around in the dirt after that. I stated in another post that the 22 has the opposite duotone of the std. Bersa 380. The slide is silver and the frame black. Bersa put a set of very bright almost fluorescent red 3 dot sights that give an excellent sight picture. This along with a great trigger pull made it a joy to shoot. I did have 1 FTE ( 1st rnd on the 4th mag) but everthing else functioned 100% including using the slidelock to pickup the 1st rnd in a mag. All in all this gun is more fun than a barrel of monkeys and I am feeling really good about buying it.

Sounds great.  I've ordered the FS22 to use as practice for the 380 but have a 6 week wait to get it. So if anything goes really wrong with it....don't tell me.

Brian , why did they say the wait would be so long? You can see from my other post it only took about 2 wks and I am guessing Elliot Bros. has plenty in stock now. I did ask about the 6" target model and the dist. said they didn't know when they would have more.

Don't know.  I went to the local Gander Mountain and got nowhere.  Looked them up on the net and ended up with Impact Guns.  I finally put the order in ; felt like I might as well get in line and get the process started.  I tried to look up Elliot Bros. and had no luck finding them... never heard of them before.  I may go back and see what is up with Impact guns.

Brian, sorry I missed your reply. Elliot Bros ( I hope I'm not misspelling their name) is the dist. for my state. Firestorm is distributed seperately from Bersa and is divided into 3 or 4 districts around the country. It is my underrstanding that only Firestorm distributes 22 cal guns in this country.
