How many rounds have you put through your .380?

Who's shot the most rounds through their .380?  And how is it holding up?

I've put 800 rounds through it so far. Holding up well, but have had to use lock tight more than once on the grips.

Re: How many rounds have you put through your .380?

I've put somewhere between 4000 and 5000 rounds through my T380 in just over a year, not without problems.

I've replaced the slide release latch twice.
I've had the "Infamous E-Clip" break on me twice, one time that lead to a general failure of the trigger linkage requiring warranty service.
I've had serious peening on the lower edge of the boltface and on the slide latch notch.  This also was corrected during the same warranty service by replacing the entire slide.

As of right now, it seems to be holding up fairly well.  Well, since the last time it was down a couple of months ago with a busted "Infamous E-Clip".  I went on ahead and ordered up some extras from Eagle Imports, so now when it breaks again I'll have spares on hand which should greatly reduce the downtime.

Me?  Several times over.  I mean, I've actually shot enough of that Wolf junk alone through it to buy another one -- that's not counting the "Good Stuff" that I've shot through mine.

I've shot about 500 rounds and it still shoots great.

Re: How many rounds have you put through your .380?

500 rounds, and no problems noted as yet...

Based on the "grip-screw" comments here, I check mine after shooting, but so far have not had to tighten them...

Well, I've now gone over the 5000 round mark.  It would be nice if I could change my vote to reflect that fact.

Between 400 and 500 and I have had the infamous grip screw problem.  Fortunately it's a minor problem.

gb_in_ga, where do you typically go shoot?

Re: How many rounds have you put through your .380?

Over 500 rounds.  Have no idea how many before I got it.  I am assuming not too many since it was in great shape.

Gun is rock solid, shooting straight.

Bummer. I missed this poll. But my answer would have been between 200 and 250 so far.

Re: How many rounds have you put through your .380?

I am well past 3,000 rds. closer to 4,000. Since I buy 1000 rd bulk packs from my uncle and considering that i have had my T380 since 2000. Thats easy math. The harder part is all the SD loads in 20 packs that have shuttled down the barrle. Happy to report my T 380 is a hungry boy and eats everthing I feed it.

The only problem I ever had was this. FTF with two boxes back to back with magtec FMJ's to which I blamed magtec. I might have jumped to that conclusion however before I should have. Both boxes (50 rds each) FTF using the original magizine and spring. Shortly there after I picked up 3 new clips and replaced the spring in the 6 yr old orinal clip.

Since then, not one issue. (but have not used magtec since, either) With all do respect for magtec, prior to the 2 box FTF issue I had in one week, It ate magtec 95 grain FMJ's like santa eats cookies.

I am starting to get just a bit concerned over the notch out on the slide  for the lock open position. It is starting to get deformed a bit. Might have to replace the slide at some point.

My Bersa T 380 has never been in shop for service work, nor have I ever replaced any parts on it with the exception of the clip spring.

My grips screws used to loosen up at the 60 to 70 rd mark and be falling out at 100 rds. I fixed that issue with some thread dope. I used one that holds but still allowes me to remove the screw for good cleaning with in the frame.

Re: How many rounds have you put through your .380?

Just got a barely usd duo version last week, and have put about 100 rds through it already. only had 3 jams, but that was due to me not being familiar withe the weapon. Used 2 diff types of ammo, after i became more comfortable with it, the jams ceased
