Anyone try a HKP7 or other HK?

I'm thinking about getting a new HK45c  or USP40c.  Any opinions on HK or their polygonal rifling?

    Like to hear from you.

Truthfully, I don't know much about HK guns, except that they run a little pricey. HK P7 mags run in excess of $100.00 each. They make Bersa mags look like bargains, and those who whine about them look like whiney crybabies. Smile [:)]

HK USPs are in the mid $700 range.

Get a Bersa 45 Ultra Compact. Or a BT9UC. Better yet, get both guns and still have enough money to get a UBG Striker holster.

Just one man's opinion. Hey, this is a Bersa board, after all.

I  have the USP in 9mm and the USPc in 45.  Awesome guns, I bought mine used and got them for around $450 each.  To me the trigger is better on the HK then the Glock, XD, of M&P.  Extra mags aren't cheap.  If you find a deal on an HK get it.  I have shot the HK 8 shot squeeze cocker before.  Very nice gun, but wow $$$$.  One should shop around for a used HK if in the market.

    Hi Jim,

I just sold my H&K USP40C a month or so ago. Just couldnt make myself like it. Didnt feel right in my hand and more so I didnt like shooting it. Maybe its more that I'm not a .40cal guy but still I was glad to see it go. I have had a Bersa .45UC for a year or so now and I love it. For a gun that is half the price of the H&K I think the Bersa is on par with performance and quality. Good Luck.
