    BT 45 UC availability

Anyone have an idea why the BT 45 UC is so hard to find right now? Are they just that popular? None of the gun dealers in my area have any and say their distributors haven't had any for a while. Even the online gun dealers are all out of stock. I have a BT 380 DT and my wife and I love it. Never a FTF or FTE and very accurate within a reasonable distance. I'd like to add the BT 45 UC to my collection but am hesitant to purchase one sight unseen.

    Thanks,
    Murray

I know you said not sight unseen but this is a good deal. $306 delivered to your FFL.
The UC9 is a little larger  (it has a fatter grip) than 380 but ultra reliable. I have never heard of one having any problems.

I don't see any .45's. Only to add to wish list.

That 9UC is a dandy and ammo is cheaper than 45.

PS: plus I think I had a brain fart on that one.

Back of the mind my foot!! You got the little voices telling you to get one too!

I finally listend to my voices and got a BT.45 last year. Best thing I ever did. Been flawless and has become my daily carry.

    Re: BT 45 UC availability

Try having your dealer search for a Mini Firestorm 45. It's the same gun made by Bersa with the Firestorm trade name on it. The only difference is the forward strap on the grip has finger grooves. Mine shoots flawlessly.

My dealer ordered from Davidson, Inc. Last time I checked they had 13 of them in nickle finish. Mine also came with 2 mags.

Maybe the reason you can't find Bersas is that they're making more for Firestorm.

Go to www.ebang.com and do a search on Bersa 45s.
Just aim in the general direction and empty the magazine

    Re: BT 45 UC availability

I appreciate everyone's comments and ideas. I was fortunate enough to find and purchase a BT 45 UC in stainless steel on GunBroker.com for $379.00 including an extra magazine. It's a bit more than I wanted to pay but I figure the stainless and extra mag amount to about an $80 value. You can check it out here:

My only other option was to have Gander Mountain transfer a BT 45 UC in satin nickel from one of their other stores (which I did to be able to examine one) but they wanted $529.00 and wouldn't negotiate the price.

I'll post a range report ASAP.

Wow! $529 is a tad high. I wonder how long that gun sits in the case.
