Factory mags that work in the BT9UC

Click on above photos to enlarge.

Firestorm and Bersa 9mm mags will work great in the Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact or the Firestorm Mini 9. Even the 17 and 10 round mags made for the Thunder 9 "Hi-Capacity" will work, although the bottom of the mag will stick out the bottom of the mag well, as shown in the first picture.

BT9UC mags don't work in the Thunder 9 "Hi-Capacity" because the magazines don't extend far enough up into the mag well to engage the magazine lock.

The 10 round magazines have black plastic followers, where the 13 and 17 round magazines have chrome metal followers.

Were you just posting this for general information or asking a question?

Just trying to be helpful by posting this information in the Thunder 9 Forum. We have more and more new users coming to Bersa Talk and questions about magazines get asked all the time. Sometimes the same questions, over and over. Just thought this might be helpful.

Here's a couple more pictures, FYI.

What I can't understand is ......'WHY IN THE WORLD ARE THESE LITTLE MAGAZINES SO DARNED MUCH MONEY"?  We are being ROBBED.

It would be VERY GOOD "if" Bersa/Firestorm would tell us how many mags. come with each model......

It would ALSO be a nice gesture if Bersa/Firestorm would make these little mags. available at about 1/2 of the going price now.  I mean $45.00 for a little mag?????????

And how about a cleaning brush, a guide rod, some snap caps, 2 mags in a hard plastic case with each purchase of these excellent firearms? Then Bersa could really jack up the price and maybe this brand would get some respect from the Gun Snobs!Wink [;)]

The guns are selling for about 1/2 the price of what most other guns are selling for. Take the money you save from buying a Bersa over some other brand and buy some mags. Crybaby. Crying [:'(]

Go buy  factory hi cap mags for para Ord  Their same price  45 to 50 range I had a hicap Llama 50 bucks  Springfield  hi cap 1911 same

Bersa comes with 2 mags in 9mm 40 45  1 mag in 380.     Bersa talk has been responsible  for the 380 mag price decrease and the 2 mags in larger caliber.  This board is watched and  we have brought about change. More is coming and as we grow I sure will will have greater impact

What little mags If for 380  thunder and your paying that  your shopping wrong place.  We have been thru this mag price many times  We made progress . be thankful.

Hello and thanks for the input.  You made the statement that "I am shopping in the wrong place", to get a good deal on these little mags., for the 380 and the 9 MM.  Please tell me what you suggest.  You can reply to cvs-associates@triad.rr.com  my Family and I will be most appreciative.

    Thanks again, Chris

Hey!!  I am NO 'Cry Baby"!  What is wrong with trying to get the best possible deal for my money?  I have three Glocks with 6 mags each and I haven't paid this kind of money for REAL Glock mags.

Bersa allows for ownership of a QUALITY firearm @ a very reasonable price initionally' so that you may be an QWNER Now. Then you can buy accessories as needed, when finances allow.
