I voted for collect... but for me it is a combination of a few things

A. I do kind of collect
B. I like to shoot
C. Self-Defense purposes

I got to protect my self and family.  That is my right and I excercise it.  And protecting our gene pool is in our DNA strand, so try to stop someone from doing that.  Try to take away a gun, we'll use a sword, take that away, we use a club. 

Also the tradition of firearms is a right from generation to generation.  I learned to shoot from a father staitioned in the Marshalls in the PTO of WW2, and a grandfather who was a doughboy in France.  I own an 03 Springfield and a '44 M-1 carbine in their honor.  They will be my sons someday.  This is what makes me crazy.  The liberals platform is create programs so everyone can have equal access, right?

Whats a better equalizer than a gun? It takes the lesser and puts them on a level playing field with someone trying to exert force and control because they are  stronger.  So I guess we're all a bunch of Liberals.  Damn politics are freaking me out.

I chose 'Big Time Hunter' because I definaltely hunt as much as possible, and bought my first firearms for that reason.

But, now I have my CC permit and have started getting into pistols more. (so I could have chosen self defense because I carry for self defense more than I hunt) Read one quote about the artistry of firearms, I'd like to echo that. The aesthetics and mechanicals of firearms are as appealing as the function to me. Kind of like watches or cars, they're machines that accomplish a task. Now if they can do it while looking great, so much better!

As a citizen of the United States of America, I am held responsible for preserving our Constitution and the rights that are ours by the grace of GOD and the foresight of our founding fathers.  I am held responsible for preserving our sovereignty and keeping our borders safe.  I am held responsible for protecting my family, my property, my neighborhood, my town, my county, my state and my country, from those that are within our country that would see harm done to our people, or would otherwise try to force tyranny onto our people.  As well as those that would infringe on our Constitutional rights and those from outside our borders that would invade our country in an attempt to take it over.
