    BersaTalk performance

    Access to the web site is at a crawl. I know its not my browser or the initial contact with the site. The symptoms look to me like the database is in need of some maintenance (re-indexing?).

    Re: BersaTalk performance

    I noticed the same thing this morning and over the weekend. It is also VERY slow when adding a post.

    ++!

    I thouight it might be my server at first (it's been running pretty slow itself for a month or two now). However, all other sites I visit have no problem while BT is VERY slow to load or I get a "SORRY, SITE IS UNAVAILABLE..." message. It's been this way for nearly two weeks now. I often have to repost a message several times before it wil be accepted or the same message is posted several times when I hit reload trying to get back to the site after an "error" message.
