    P32 Price check

I stopped by my local pawn today checking on prices for P32s.  They only had a hard chrome model for $299.  Is this a reasonable price?  I liked the looks of it, but want to check before putting it on LAY AWAY!!

I noticed on the KT website they want quite a bit more for the hard chrome.  It sure is pretty.  If it is still there next week I will lay some cash down and put her away.

    Re: P32 Price check

Now, I don't know about Texas, but like Michael T has stated before, prices in Fl are high.  About 6 months ago, I got a HC P32 in Orlando for $270 before tax.  At that time, GM in Orlando was getting $259 for the blued model, I considered my $270 a good deal for around here.

If you can get a decent price on a firearms transfer near you or aren't far away for Amarillo, contact CDNN, they have The Best prices on KT's.  Again, a few months ago they were getting $198 for blued P32's with only $13 to ship.

If you really want a P32, if it were me, I'd get my butt back into that store and work a deal FAST on the HC P32 you saw.  The HC finish is for me much more desirable if you plan to carry it or live in a corrosion/rust prone area.  There is also a non-confirmed rumor/theory that since KT sends the barrels/slides off to be HC plated, they pick the better examples of the ones they have to send off.

I think the above points help in the HC versions being higher priced than the blue models and MU
CH  harder to find.  If you snooze on that HC you're gonna lose (on that pistol at least) I wouldn't expect it sit on the shelf very long.  That $299 price is within $30-40 of what that pistol would go for most anywhere in the country.

Mike. My sister just bought a P32 and is looking for an outside the waist or inside the waist band holster. Can you or some one else recommend a good holster for her. She is fairly new to shooting so a good comfortable holster would help tremendously.

    Re: P32 Price check

Give Nate a shout. Since its  for a woman would need to be small like a pocket holster  with I'd say only 1 attatch point. spring per haps.  Other wise I look a cheap small nylon holsters  I have a couple that really work fine. Except you can't just  reholster if you draw.

Chris(X) uses the spring clip on her P-32 when she carries at her store . She is normally dressed nice and needs to keep out of sight I have carried with the clip in pocket like packin a knife.

    Re: P32 Price check

I reached out to Jarhead (Nate) last night on what options he can recommend.  My wife thinks she wants to carry it in her purse.  I decided to wait until she gets done with her CHL class and see what her instructor recommends.  Because remember, if the instructor tells her to body carry versus purse carry, he will have more impact on her decision.

Not in purse.  In can be taken  from her and its to hard to get to. The only place good  control is on body.  Purse is just another feel go I have a pistol location. Remember you only have a few seconds from start to finish. Will take that long to open and start fishing .

Gun need to be near center of body where can be reached quickly . If spends all day sitting in office maybe ankle. .

    RE:Holster
I use a Uncle Mike's SideKick size 36 soft holster for either pocket carry or IWB/OWB.
Works great either way and is very comfortable carrying.
