Wow, thats a real grown up position...gay couples adopt the children that are left behind in our foster system. They also use artifical insemination. Just because one is gay does not mean that we are incapable of having a family.

Kimi, the founders were religious men.  Technically, this *is* a nation "under God" in the sense that it was built upon Christian principles.  It was added to the pledge as an "in your face" to the Communists.  But it's one of those things that went without saying for a very long time.  This isn't an attack on your beliefs in the least.

So that just leaves you and me agreeing on your first point.  I honestly don't get what all the hoopla is over gay marriage.

As far as the immigrants go...sheesh, what a mess.  Where's the fence?

I don't see what the big deal is either but oh well. Yes immigration is a mess. But I think if they do put a fence up, the illegals will get in some other way. After all, the Japanese got around Iwo Jima (Iwo To -the Japanese have officially changed it back to its pre-war name) using tunnels. Maybe we'll have a tunnel coming from Mexico to Wally World and Home Depot? (BTW I'm using Carlos Mencia's stuff as far as the Wally World and Home Depot comments)

As far as immigration goes, I am tired of working my a$$ off to support people from every other country in the world. Our government insists on  letting them come in in droves and them forces the tax payers of this country to foot the bill. I personally would rather see the monies that are spent supporting the immigrants go to supporting our own impoverished children in this country including children who are being raised by gay couples.

The last comment to post on this subject is that if our forefathers would have shared your believes, then you and I probably would not even be here because our country wouldn't have stood a chance in the battles that we have fought unless we had the ability to reproduce ourselves!!

Why should artificial insemination be excluded? It helps couples on both sides of the fence. Understand that I am not attacking your point of view, it just doesn't make sense to me.

Marriage has ALWAYS been between a man and a woman.  What gives a small group of people the right to come in and say that they all of a sudden have the right to step on and change something that has been a certain way since the beginning of time?  Over 70% of the nation is against gay marriage, doesn't democracy and the people of the country count for anything anymore?  As the traditional family erodes, so does society.  It is not wrong for people not to want the family to be eroded away anymore than it already is.  It is a slap in the face to all people that are married and trying to teach their children to cherish family life, for them to have to hear about how it is ok to be gay when they send their children to school.  That is just another way to force your beliefs on others.  I know that you are going to say that I am forcing my beliefs on you by not wanting people of the same sex to be married, but it is a little different.  If women and women or men and men were supposed to be together, we would have been born with 2 sets of organs.  We have laws against a man marrying more than one woman, against marrying an animal.  If I want to marry my brother, should I be allowed just because I feel that I should? 

BTW this is just my opinion on the subject.  I know others have different opinions and that is ok.  That is what the US is about, everyone's opinion counts.  It is probably going to end up at the SC anyway.  Besides, this issue is not nearly as important to me as illegal immigration and other issues, just MHO before people start taking shots.

Each time you have a new posting I still go to the Dictionary and look for the definition of PinHead and still see superdave.

The entire Nation is not against the gay issue, just the Christian Church and most pinheads that don't agree with the "gay thing" that don't go to church. The tradtional family is not threatened by gays, its threatened by unethical, immoral and sinful straight folks.

I am a hard line Christian conservative born of a Catholic father and a Jewish mother. Been married for a long time and have two sons, 29 & 27, took a solemn Christian pledge to love and honor my spouse. I served in the U.S. Army, active/reserves and guard, 32yrs., 6mons., 23 days and retired on my 60th birthday last Feb.

I served 27 months in Viet Nam and during my career was awarded over 24 awards and decorations with the top three being the Silver Star, Bronze Star and the 2d award Purple Heart. I serverd as a full time FireFighter for over ten years. I tell you this because I can prove all the good things and bad that I've done over the past 60yrs to include some bigoted ideas such as yours and others on this site.

Now I could paint all the folks out there who are Christian in name only, who live an immoral lifestyle, have been divorced, drink to excess and have or do drugs with contributing to the decline of family values. But I believe that being gay is not at odds with my Christian values. Whats wrong is living in a sexual relationship without being married and I'd bet that there is a straight couple with a child that is not married out there on this site or you have a friend or relative superdave in that situation and thats what is contributing to the decline of family values.

Now if a same sex couple wants to enter into a lawful contract and become a couple I say great, but most Christian denominations will not and thats great also. I will not shun someone for being gay anymore that I would my own son living in a relationship with his girlfriend without benefit of marriage.

I am more at ease with the diversity of others than I have ever been and now see that I have missed much in life by doing so.

KimiGirl is my friend and I maintain open dialogue with her past this website and feel better about myself for doing so. A they say I've come a long way baby.

It would appear that you have seen too much Bill O'Reilly and have adopted his habit of calling people pinhead. Perhaps you should apply that name to yourself as well. If you think that the average American family is not threatened daily be homosexual predators, then I must say that even with your vast experience in the world and your many adventures you have bought into the PC attitude regarding homosexuals. Most male homosexuals are predators and seek to establish contact with young boys to bend them into a lifestyle when they are not ready to make such decisions. The very idea of sexualizing young kids and filling their heads with this feel good crap makes me sick.

The current FAD of lesbianism you see on TV is another attempt to legitimize an aberrant lifestyle. If you have a dictionary please look up the word "unnatural" and you will see that Webster defines it as "not in accordance with nature". Do you really want kids to be taught that homosexuality is good and normal at a time in their lives when they are still supposed to be just kids with no sexual attitudes required? When you condone homosexual marriage and legitimacy you are also condoning having kids taught that this is a normal and natural thing and that they should just allow themselves to be led into it . As to adults, I couldn't care less, don't ask, don't tell, but when you bring kids (family) into it, you are endangering young minds.

Look at your facts...the majority of sexual predators are heterosexual males, not homosexual. As homosexual relationships do happen in nature frequently, they can hardly be classified as un-natural. I suggest you do research...it will help you at least sound a little more intelligent than the post above considering that everything you offered as evidence is false. If you have something against homosexuals thats fine. But don't post such blatant falsehoods as truth.

Yep you are correct, very perceptive on your part, I did steal that word from from old Bill O, don't watch the show as much as you obviously do, but do like the way that word sounds, much better than *** don't ya think.

I never said I condone homosexual marriage or support children being taught by the system that its normal and everything else you said. If I had my way all children would be in a home school, or in a Christian school. Immoral behavior is wrong no matter what the lifestyle, and if Dave & Steve enter into a lawful and legal contract as a couple...so what, but you are so fast to condemn them but overlook the immoral Jack & Jills; whats up with that ?

Immoral is immoral no matter the lifestyle. Its up to you to provide your children (if you have any, and for that matter a wife) with those values you express.
