    Ladys Head count

I am wondering how many other Ladys are in this group, I can't be the only one can I?

Ladys stand up and be heard.

    Re: Ladys Head count

Lisa, if you do a search and click on the "view all members" shortcut shown in the upper right hand corner of the Forums page, you can scan about 67 pages listing all the member user names. Sex or sexual orientation is not one of the criteria shown in personal profiles. That’s left to the discretion of the individual members. If you search all of the user names, you’ll only find 14 or so that can be reasonably assumed to be "gender specific" and point to female. Most of the others are gender neutral, but many are male gender specific, such as "tman", "troutman", etc. We now have a total of 1,341 members, 14 of whom are more or less self-identified as females. That’s about 1.043%. There are probably a few more, perhaps even many more, but we have no way of knowing, unless they choose to speak up and identify themselves. Apparently, if they even exist, shyness is a common characteristic.

BTW, just so there's no confusion, p-t-max is a guy. Smile [:)]

Someone said that Michael T cross-dresses on occasion when his meds run out but I don't think that should count.

    Re: Ladys Head count

I usually carry it in a #3 or #4  Uncle Mike's pocket holster. Depending on how you are dressing, it's really the easiest way and makes for a fast draw. Loose fitting jeans or dockers work great.

I also use a small belt pouch with a velcro flap. At a casual glance it looks like a PDA case.

    Re: Ladys Head count

Hello ladies! I officially joined the forum in January, on the day that I bought my BT 380 Duotone, but had been lurking while researching for a few weeks before I bought my gun. I plan on getting my carry permit, and although PA is a shall issue state and doesn't require any sort of training to get it, have scheduled an NRA pistol safety course at the end of the month with an instructor at a local sportsmen's club. I grew up shooting guns with one of my older brothers, who has quite the variety of pistols and shotguns, but the Duotone is the first gun that I've ever been able to call my own.

    Re: Ladys Head count

    Now I have to ask....

How many of you carry openly?  Or does most everyone carry concealed?

In most states you can only carry openly on your own property or other private property that you have written permission to do so..

    Re: Ladys Head count

Here in Connecticut you have to carry concealed so you don't scare the anti-gun idiots.
