I had my choice of Duo or Matte Black for same price ($218 Academy).  I chose the Matte Black and it also came with the rubber wrap around grips.  It also has the fixed rear sight (which I really like)!  I am happy with my choice and the only one that I think I might have liked better was the blued finish, but only if it had the fixed sights and wrap around grips.

T380 duo-tone, Kel-Tec P32 black frame/hard chrome slide.  Would luv to have a FS 22 in matte/stainless slide (if they make such a thang) fall into my lap but would settle for a regular matte one since they're harder to find than hens teeth.  Bruce

I like my Duo-tone better than the Matte black. If it were blued than I would buy other one. I also have the Bersa 380cc in nickel. They could have polished the nickel a lot more to make it shiny. It is very dull. I won't buy another Nickel in any caliber. I like the stainless the best.

My first Thunder 380 was the Matte Black...but it was stolen... The one I have now is the Duo-Tone... My personal opinion, for what it's worth, is that I liked the Matte Black better...but the Duo-Tone was all I could get when I went to buy this time..... But all things considered, I guess it really doesn't matter all that much.
