    Model 85 broken

I took my Bersa to the range a couple of weeks ago, and midway through the second magazine, a strange thing happened.  The action cycled, but the trigger was all the way forward, as if the hammer was down, but the hammer was fully cocked.  I had to manipulate the decocker several times to get the hammer to fall, but even then it fell to halfcock.  It won't go all the way down.  I tried cocking and decocking several times with the same results.  The trigger doesn't move and the hammer will not decock fully.  Any ideas?

I would repost in Tech Talk and wait for an answer from the gunsmith. It sounds dangerous to me the way it is!

    Re: Model 85 broken

Something appears to have broken or come out of place. I would stop using the pistol and if you like, call us and we will walk you through a couple of checks, or ship it to us, but it won't be covered under warranty.

I definitely have stopped using it... I was just curious if it was something common and easy to fix.  Doesn't sound like it, haha..

I might try calling if I decide to keep it.
