    SUBJECT OF FAILURE TO FEED MALFUNCTIONS

    ON THE SUBJECT OF FAILURE TO FEED MALFUNCTIONS - PLEASE READ!!!

    //

    It has come to our attention that there are a number of people out there that are having failure to feed malfunctions with their Bersa/Firestorm 380 pistols, to this we submit the following:

    When you send your firearm in for a FAILURE TO FEED MALFUNCTION, please make sure you send the magazines that you are using with your pistol. It does little good to test fire it with another magazine if the magazine is the problem. IF WE CANNOT DUPLICATE THE MALFUNCTION WE CANNOT REPAIR IT!

    PLEASE DO NOT feed your pistol CRAPPY,CHEAP, ammunition and expect it to work correctly. It is designed to work with quality ammunition, not reloads, or cheap stuff that has a quality control problem at their factory. Here is a hint, it costs less(the ammunition) for a reason.

    As a professional instructor that has trained personnel numbering into the thousands (documented) in handgun training I say this. YES, I believe there are a huge number of people out their that have a technique issue that presents itself when they shoot a fixed barrel design pistol. It does not matter that your Glock, Kimber, Beretta, 1911, or any other number of pistols do not give you problems. They were designed after this style of pistol because it was a way of making a more forgiving firearm for improper technique. If you need to get some technique help, get it! Don't blame an inanimate object for your difficulty.

    Last but not least, we repair ALOT of Bersa firearms. Not to say they have quality issues, because the majority of problems are small, or caused by the operator of the firearm (cheap ammo, poor maitnance, taking apart what they should not). We still repair them and get them back to you as quickly as we can. If your pistol has an accuracy problem and you send it in and want to, request a test target shot by one of us be sent back with the pistol. We are happy to do that for you and usually send one if there was an accuracy issue anyways. If your pistol has a FAILURE TO FEED MALFUNCTION, you may request that we video your pistol being shot as proof of the malfunction being repaired or nonexistant when it leaves our facility. Please request it when you send it in and include a working email address that we can send it to.

    We offer this as an offer to streamline assuring you get what you need to help you be happy with your pistol. I still firmly believe that this is one of the best products on the market FOR THE MONEY YOU PAY! Please don't compare these pistols to ones that cost several times more if you have what in turn is a small issue with them. Thousands of happy customers most assuredly confirms this belief.

    Remember we are here to help, and receive no payment for our time spent here answering questions and offering advice. Nor for the time we are happy to spend with you on the phone if you call with a question. Please let us know if there are any ways we can help that we are not offering at this time.

    This is not a complaint letter, but a simple notice of information to clear the air and hopefully help us all out.

    Thank you very much,
