Re: Carrying at The House of Mouse

I have carried at Disney, If there is a sign it isn't properly posted.

If caught at the gate, security will be called. They will check to see if you are legal, if so you will be escorted back to your vehicle to secure it and driven back to the park all the time apologizing to you for your inconvenience. (This is what happened to one of our members from our club)

Now if you are caught in the park, they check like above to see if you are legal..Then send you packing and revoke your pass. Go figure!

The lady from Pennsylvania was recently arrested at the gate. NO Pennsylvania concealed permit, she broke the State law. Her Problem, the doofus didn't even know the gun was there.  This type of person is dangerous to all of us. It was later learned that the gun was loose in her purse, enough said!

we're going in Nov, but i'll just leave the CCW in the truck and carry my kershaw black onion.  IMO, as property owners, they have the right to request that you do not carry a concealed handgun, and i will respect that.  also, there are WAY too many chances of loosing a handgun on a ride there if you're planning on getting on any.  if you're going to ride, then do something else w/ the firearm.

I'll not be disarming myself for a ride. I am confident in my holster's ability to retain my firearm or I wouldn't be using it.

I agree property owners rights vs. my right to be able to defend myself is a difficult (at best) situation.
