    Favorite Dessert?

Okay folks, it is Friday, we're all going to picnics, camp outs, and all of those reunions...  What is the one dessert that you find yourself eating before you even get to the meal?  (Bonus points if you include the recipe.)

For me, it has to be an old fashioned custard pie.

LOL, Beer isn't a dessert, it is a beverage.  Well, in some instances it is a bodily fluid.  But sorry Stid, you've got to choose the second best thing.

Ps.  All I ever seem to get served at the casino's is Bailey's.  Must be a New York thing.

Beer is too a dessert! Its a hordovie, an appitizer, a main course, a pallet clenzer, poured on the bathroom floor its a deordizer and a sanatizer (dont know why you would waste it that way) and it has nutritional value. Taken in proper quantities it will purge your body of poisins and toxins. Its full of valuable carbos and life giving calories. It will draw flys away from yur water mellon if ya pour a little on the kitchen counter. Also takin in proper quantities it will build your confidance level. Make you look better to the laides and of course make the ladies look better to you... You can dance better and your jokes are more funny. And you'll tend to fart a tad more. Beer is a good eye opener in the morning. You can brush your toof with it and shampoo your hair with it.. Beer is most defintaley a dessert! Bone appateet.

    Re: Favorite Dessert?

The first thing I thought of was a blackberry compote cobbler ala mode . . . (mmmmmm).

But what I've actually been ordering of late (the few times I have dessert) is a B&B (Benedictine and brandy) on the rocks.  The Missus always goes for the torched custard (aka creme brulle').
